Our Mission:
We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of African Americans living with memory loss, as well as their caregivers. Through enriching activities, expert resources, and emotional support, we ensure that both individuals with dementia and their loved ones continue to live life to the fullest.
What We Do:
- Provide fun, impactful activities like outings, retreats, and travel for those with memory loss and their caregivers.
- Offer vital resources, guidance, and expert advice on dementia care.
- Support caregivers with emotional support groups, respite programs, and workshops.
- Advocate for inclusive, quality care for individuals from underrepresented communities.
Our Vision:
We aim to create the Pamela R. Bowren Village—an independent living compound where individuals with dementia can roam freely in a safe, supportive environment while accessing amenities like shopping, medical care, and social activities.
